About Signswest Pilbara
Signswest is a long-standing regional signage business servicing the Pilbara since 1997. Known for expert signwriting services, bulk ordering capabilities and regional reach, we provide signage solutions for business, industry, government and community sectors throughout the North West.
In 2023, Signswest became part of Pilbara Signs Group, alongside Karratha Signs under the ownership of local Karratha family, Jed and Suzy Griffiths. With a strong, long-term team, we are recognised for our reliability, attention to detail and strong industry know-how, a sign company that has built deep regional relationships with long-term clients across mining, construction, government and small business sectors.
Pilbara Signs Group
Pilbara Signs Group—trading as Karratha Signs and Signswest—is a proudly family-owned and operated signwriting business based in Karratha and Port Hedland. Founded by Jed and Suzy in 1998, the business which began as a small family venture called JG Graphix, launched with a $5,000 printer and a dream. Today, it is a regional leader with 19 employees, servicing clients across the region.
The business is Aboriginal-owned and Supply Nation-certified, with a strong foundation in traditional signwriting, community values, and premium craftsmanship.
While Karratha Signs and Signswest continue trading under their original names, they operate from three locations with shared leadership, values, and commitment to excellence. This commitment was recently recognised with our successful attainment of ISO 9001 Certification, which recognises business efficiency, a track record of consistently meeting customer expectations, a commitment to continual improvement.
Across both brands, Pilbara Signs Group has serviced more than 2,500 clients, including Aboriginal corporations, mining companies, government bodies, and not-for-profits. Over the past five years, we have reinvested almost 15% of our revenue annually back into the local economy and community through our local business procurement and sponsorship policies.
Together, the two businesses have a combined 55 years of local knowledge and experience.
